Topsail Island is the best-kept secret of the North Carolina Coast! The perfect lowkey getaway destination. The island is divided into three separate towns, North Topsail, Surf City, and Topsail Beach. It’s 27 miles of oceanfront bliss. There is plenty of shopping and dining available, but we’re not overrun by the touristy destinations. When in Topsail you’re here to connect. Here is our guide to help do just that…

How do you Pronounce Topsail?

All the locals say “Top-sul”

Where do you want to stay?

It depends really on what you’re looking for. Topsail is broken down into three towns. North Topsail is small and very quiet. There are two restaurants located in the resort complexes. We have included their info below. Surf City is the main “town” of Topsail. This is where you will want to stay if you plan on walking or biking to and from anything. Then there is Topsail Beach, still very quiet but more restaurants and shopping opportunities are available. Splash by The Sea  Oceans Edge

Is Topsail Island crowded?

The short answer is no. The long answer is, What do you consider crowded? There is plenty of room on the beach, and you will never be worried about someone right underneath you. The only thing we locals consider crowded is Saturdays when everyone is coming and going. Once everyone is settled in for their stay, it’s smooth sailing.
